Most people think the word radical means extreme, over the top, on the edge, excessive, fringe, fanatical – maybe even hip, or cool. But it doesn’t. It comes from the latin word, radix or radicalis, which means roots. The church needs “radical” believers that have deep spiritual roots. Without depth in their lives, they have no roots to anchor them and so people are blown around like tumbleweeds whenever the winds of life come. They dry up when the heat is on and wither when times of drought come. This week Pastor Chris kicks off a brand new series – “Totally Radical” starting with what it means to have Radical Faith!
